This Data Protection Notice sets out the basis on which Bonita Pte. Ltd. may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process the personal data of our customers, in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act. It applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data held by organisations we have engaged to process it on our behalf.
What this website collects
This site has no accounts, no comments and no login, and nothing you type is stored on the website itself. There are three ways it collects anything at all.
- The corporate enquiry form, the only form on this website. What you type is what we receive: your name, your business email address, your company name and its size, and whether you agree to hear from us. It reaches us by email through a third-party form service, and is not stored on this website. Every other page asks you to email or message us directly, and those reach us the ordinary way rather than through this site.
- Booking an appointment. The booking diary on our two booking pages is operated for us by WESS, our appointment system. What you enter there — your name, your contact details, the service, and the date and time you choose — goes to WESS in order to make the appointment. We also record which page and which advertising source a booking came from, so that we know how people find us.
- Analytics and advertising. Pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and how you arrived, collected through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. This is aggregate measurement, not an attempt to identify you personally.
Cookies and embedded content
Analytics and advertising cookies are set through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta. Our contact page embeds Google Maps for each outlet, and our customer reviews are displayed by Trustindex, which reads them from Google. Those embeds may set their own cookies and record how you interact with them, exactly as if you had opened Google Maps or our Google reviews yourself. Links to WhatsApp and to our social accounts take you to those companies, where their privacy policies apply rather than ours.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing on this site stops working if you do, apart from the maps and the reviews.
Your rights, and how to use them
Under the PDPA you may ask us what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete something you have sent us, and withdraw your consent to us contacting you.
Write to service@bonita.com.sg and we will respond. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service you have asked for, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Who to contact about your data
Bonita has designated a Data Protection Officer, responsible for ensuring we comply with the PDPA. You can reach them at service@bonita.com.sg, or by writing to either outlet. Address anything about your personal data to them, and they will deal with it or pass it to whoever can.
